Tenrox, the Integrated Operational Control and Compliance Software Company, today announced that Webplan Corporation, a provider of comprehensive software and service solutions for rapid Response Management, chose to upgrade to Tenrox Release 8 to streamline its project tracking processes.
Along with the upgrade, Webplan will take a step further and tighten its project management automation by integrating Tenrox with Microsoft Project Server. The real-time synchronized integration using one enterprise database, allows time data entered and approved in Tenrox software to be transferred to Microsoft Project without any import/export.
"We have been using Tenrox for over four years now and we are looking forward to further automate our project related processes with Release 8. The intuitive user interface, along with the new capabilities has really impressed us. We are very excited about rolling out the new version and taking advantage of the unique real-time integration to Microsoft Project Server,” said Susan Robbins Parsons, VP, Finance and Corporate Services at Webplan.

Moreover, Tenrox software will help Weplan integrate project data with its financial system (Great Plains) in the near future, providing the company with an end-to-end real time view of its project portfolios and operations.
