Quality Assurance Specialist

Position: Quality Assurance Specialist

Description:

• Test and report issues and verify fixes for custom solutions.
• Test and verify accuracy of product documentation, help files and guides
• Create test cases
• Study specifications for new projects, develop and document testing scenarios
• Testing is done according to specifications. Provide feedback on usability, functionality and benefits of the features being developed
• Continuously search and improve upon QA processes
• System Testing; verify that new features integrate with existing functionality
• Reproduce bugs reported by customers
• Certify client packages for delivery
• Test upgrades
• Assist load testing specialist in identifying possible problem areas
• Work with QA Manager to provide timelines and testing schedules for every project
• Contribution to automated test strategy
  

Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum of two years of related experience in the software industry
• Superb problem-solving and time management skills
• Team oriented and dynamic
• Experience in writing and performing requirements based test cases
• Ability to thrive in tight deadlines and high pressure environment
• Comfortable working with various Windows operating systems
• Experience administering Database servers and Web Servers an asset
• Experience with Automation testing tools an asset
